The remains of the President, as well as those of his wife, Bess, his daughter and his son-in-law find their final resting place on the grounds of the museum. On visiting the museum you’ll be able to admire more than 32,000 objects which include papers, books, family possessions, diplomatic gifts, and more than 1,000 letters that President Truman wrote to his wife.
You’ll also get to step into two of President Truman’s offices. One of them is the very same office he occupied from 1957 until 1966, and the other one is a detailed mock-up of his Oval Office.
When you step into the library, you’ll find more than 10,000 books, 15 million manuscripts and White House files, hundred thousands of pictures, 1,000 hours of video tape recordings, and around 500 films which provide a very detailed documentation of President Truman’s career.

Children from 6 to 15 years of age only pay $3 and children under 5 years of age can enter free of charge.
